Twenty-year Cincinnati resident, Julie Dolbier, is a lifetime fitness
advocate. Active in childhood, and throughout college, Julie has
enjoyed tennis, riding, walking, and many levels of classroom
fitness. Aerobics, step, spinning, personal training, and strength
training are areas of trained instruction. A public
relations / communications graduate of Miami University, she
gained a background well-suited for interacting with the public.
Following an accident several years ago, Julie turned to the healing tenets
of yoga to return to wellness. Once involved with yoga, and experiencing the
positive assistance to her life, Julie trained to become a yoga instructor, thus
being able to share those benefits with others. Certified in three different
areas of yoga (YogaFit, Hatha, and Vinyasa), she instructs six or more
classes a week across the Cincinnati community. Serving as a yoga instructor
for Xavier’s ladies’ volleyball team is a recent addition to her schedule.
Now ready to open a studio of her own, Julie is eager to share her yoga philosophy with others:
Yoga is not about the perfect pose.
Yoga should be simple, approachable and fun.
Yoga’s purpose is to feel good…about yourself and others.
Respecting your body and listening to it will help you find your
inner spirit…and begin your journey to total wellness.
